You should see the mailbox shows it&#8217;s a Linked Mailbox instead of a Remote Mailbox as expected:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/exchangetimes.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/LinkedMailbox.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-451\" src=\"http:\/\/exchangetimes.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/LinkedMailbox.png\" alt=\"linkedmailbox\" width=\"163\" height=\"51\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To rectify this, open AD Attribute Editor and browse to the msExchRecipientTypeDetails attribute.
