I recently rebuilt my racing rig and attached my G27 Steering wheel to the PC. Windows 8.1 picks it up as a joystick instead of a wheel. Another thing I noticed is that the wheel starts turning a bit and stops when booting Windows as if it looses power. The green LED also comes on and goes dim then off. First thoughts I had is that I have a power supply issue.<\/p>\n<p>Turns out it was software related:<\/p>\n<p>I downloaded the latest driver (lgs846_x64) from Logitech&#8217;s website but the software failed to pick up the wheel. Windows also showed the wheel as an unknown device. I then downloaded\u00a0lgs510_x64 from the G27 wheel&#8217;s site on the Logitech website and after installing the software it failed to see the wheel.<\/p>\n<p>After a long search on the internet I found the below website and downloaded the 508_64 driver.\u00a0Removed the previous Logitech software and installed the\u00a0lgs510_x64 drivers.
